Today's Tips Go Back
Flash

Remember that flash is not just for indoors. Flashes are one of the cheapest items in photography.

When you are trying to decide between slide film or print film, remember the following tips:

- Slide film gives you better feedback on your exposure. Your slides will show whether you underexposed or overexposed the object in your shot.

- Print film allows the lab to adjust the exposure, but the lab technician must guess on what you were originally shooting for. Print film also has wider exposure latitude for capturing the difference between light and dark.

- Don’t use a certain type of film, just because you see someone else is using it. Use what best works for you and the type of photographs you are trying to achieve.
